Winter Break Field Trip (movies, ala moana, and fireworks)

Today was another quality time for us leadership kids and mr.ing. Today was the day that we get to go watch movies, shop at ala moana, and see the fireworks right across. So lets star all the way to the beginning. I arrived at boys and girls club around 11:30, 11:45. It was fun seeing all of them for the first time for two weeks. After Jacob arrived it was time to go. We went to ward theaters and watched Alvin and the chipmunks, chip wreck, it was a really hilarious movie, it was scary at parts too especially when this character, Dave, was about to fall off this tree bridge he was crossing to save Simon and Jeanette and also the part where the island was about to explode then the volcano erupted then the lava was dropping down and you couldn’t see anything. When the movie was done we were off to go to ala moana, we walked there until we reached the place we need to reach and meet by 7:00pm. I was hanging out with Jacob, Shayna, and Jolene but we separated boys in one group and girls in the other group. So I let Jacob go where he wanted to go first and we went to gamestop and he bought two games, we later called Jolene and Shayna too clairs and they just stayed there and again both of us went to hot topics and they finally stayed with us, and all of us went to arby’s and got drinks, not food though, then we all went to jeans warehouse and later we saw rhea, shaela, tamera, and anne. Then I paid for my sister and my moms late xmas present since I got the chance for then not to see what im giving them and me and Jacob left too go eat, this was around 6:00pm. Both of us ate Charlie’s and this was really me and Jacob’s bounding time because when we’re at school we don’t really talk as much. So we were done eating aroung 6:45pm and decided to wait by cinnabon already, once we had a chance to take 5min out of the way the girs showed up then the other sets came in then last was shayna and Jolene. When everyone was there we were still waiting for mr.ing and after that we all went outside then went across the street to watch the fireworks. It was amazing! It was so nice. But I still wonder how they do that to let the fireworks go up in the air because the fire works that I get only stay on the ground. Even the fountains do. Well after that we got on the bus resting and that waas probably it, I didn’t really talk to anyone but me and Jolene just kept bothering each other when we were about to go to sleep and I even got a present form her and chachie, thanks guys! I really like it a lot. This was a really fun day. Really really fun!!!!

Winter Fair

          Winter fair was great, we all made lots of memories for this day! this year has been so much easier than last year. last year we had to work in different times so we had different schedules and at times i got mixed up, this year was so much easier. we stayed in on job the whole time. for me i worked the cash box for pizza and Richie was the one grabbing the pizza. i did work with other people like sheala, melani, anne, and jacob because we were put all in pizza but in a different group. I remember last year when there was a huge line for pizza and drinks but this time it was going on differently like in the beginning we only sold 2 boxes but it wasn’t a crowd then after the ace dancers preformed we sold 3 and we had to take the other two boxes because we helped the other teams. This seemed so exciting! Like even thought we didn’t get to walk around we really wanted to stay or I really wanted to stay because of all the fun we were having just by selling pizza! I don’t really have much to say about my job, so I’m just going to go on with the experience I had. This experience was really fun and I saw so much things happening, I saw where people like to throw away there rubbish, I saw how people like to dance. I saw how people like to talk. And I saw how people like to have fun! Im so happy I got to do this and it didn’t accure to me that the money were raising would be for us for our final field trip this year because we had so much fun! If I got the chance to do this over again then I would and I wouldn’t change anything. And again merry Christmas to everyone

Secret Santa

          Today was the day we all have been waiting for, for a very long time, our secret Santa’s weren’t gonna be a secret anymore! This has been one of the funniest time this year, before, after, and during the revelation. I am really glad we got to do secret Santa’s although I had some doubts of doing this because we couldn’t tell anybody or else its bye bye you go, so I got scared, but yay I kept my mouth shut! This time I got Anne, this has been a privilege for me to be her secret Santa because I don’t really know her if that’s the right phrase but it just gave me a chance to get to know her a little bit more. I got so excited right after we picked names and it wasn’t hard to make no facial expressions at all because its not like I got someone that was really hard to shop for. Today we set 4 desks together so all of us can fit it was really fun and weird at the same time. People were stated to get called and then I heard my name and I was shaking, I don’t know why at all but everyone was like that, maybe it was the feeling that the person might not like it but yeah. Anne wanted a fedora hat, you know the one bruno mars always wears, yeah that’s the one because she said she was jealous because her brother has one, she also said she likes clairs and earrings but I decided to go with the clairs theme and I didn’t get her earrings, Why? Because it was really hard to shop for her just by the was I see her, and all the other earrings were not really the type that I would see her in so instead I got her a small purse also from clairs and a wallet. I just read her blog that shes so happy with her gifts and this made my heart fill with joy! I was the last one to get my present and I got scared because if you’re the last you don’t know what to expect. I thought Jacob was my secret santa but no and it ended up to be shayna the girl that is one of my craziest best friends and I was like OMG its you and she gave it to me and I just looked at the gift bag and I alredy loved it, it was so funny to. It said TO JOSH and the notes were like IF I CANT HAVE JOSH NOBODY CAN. Its kind of me, mr.ing’s, Jolene’s, sheala’s, Rhea’s, Shanice’s and Shayna’s inside joke .I looked inside and I was like “Wa” and I saw a box and inside had two presents and I opened the first one I was like OMG I wanted to cry cuz that’s what I wanted animated earphones it was gummy bears, I almost died I was so happy like really happy and I opened the other one, alittle bigger and it had like 3 wrapping papers and I opened one it said almost, the second one was yay, and the last one there it was the most cool shirt ever! I always wanted more areo shirts and I was so happy. I lalalalove shayna shes my best friend ever! I was so amazed this is what I wanted, exactly what I wanted. Lets wait tomorrow, I got her something!

Picnic

Quality time, Whoa, its been really longs since all of us been all together and just have a laugh, have food with us, and just time to talk. So yesterday we had a leadership picnic we got to eat inside the classroom and we all brought some snacks for us to share, apparently we didn’t need them because we had literally so much food like after we were done eating we thought that we could never eat again, or maybe that was just me, yeah probably, but yeah its been so fun and I think the food was from ohana’s or loco moco’s. there was fried noodles, sweet and sour spareribs, I think chop suey or beef with broccoli but there were other veggies in there too, and katsu, and macsalad, and rice, and meatballs. This was again a leadership family and this time we made sure we talked stories with one another and had fun. I really want to get to know everyone more even though its been about 2 quarters but I belive that we still have a lot to learn more about each other.

Drive Safe For Ewa

          This morning the leadership class was to wave signs for the drive safe for ewa awerness, so we had to be at school by 7:00 am and i was there about 6:59 am because i was checking my phone and running at the same time. Well so we had to get our signes and when we got there to boys and girls club it was ready for us by the police officers and they were really nice and also when i got there it was a real suprise to find kayla and mark because i havent seen them for a very long time, oh and by the way they were from the last years leadership. So yeah the funnest part of this experience was the honking of the horns for the busses the cars were ok but the busses were so loud you could hear them all the way to the school. I was inbeetween kayla and a really nice lady who always asked me if im doing ok. We went back to class about 5 minutes till the homeroom bell rang and we waited alittle till the students cleared up and we helped pick  up rubbish but we were all in the same place and that was the only problem we had but other then that it was a really good morning.

Talent Show!

          Talent show started 1 day ago, Monday, but today is Tuesday, we preformed today. When i mean we that means with shayna, jolene, megan, and heighlee. It was fun, well I guess, the people who performed before us was chachie and melani, sanita and i think her name is irias, i don’t know but they were really good, all of them and i was so surprise by there talent, but before today, yesterday me and my group didn't perform so we had to help out with the whole occasion which was talent show, some of us had different jobs like jolene had to make sure she had recorded the performances, and shayna had to do the sound box and the rest of us performed or we sat on the side and make sure that people who were there was eating lunch, we didn't really have to do this but we could if we wanted to. ok now back to our performance today. it was a fun experience to be in front of the whole 8th grade and the whole 7th grade, just luckily they weren’t on the same time. I felt so nervous, maybe it was just me or the rest of us had it too but i dont really know but what i do know is i wasn’t the only one to mess up but maybe i messed up the most and it was really same because some of my friends were watching and they said they will support me like jessa and jeszarrae and jazzelle, but prya said shes going to laugh, but i know she was joking, well i don’t know that for sure, this experience has been a new one, even though we did this last year it just feels diffrent and im just happy, well maybe the word is overwhelmed that this crazy experience was over and im just really glad that this is over and im happy that i got over it, well that’s it.

Video essay,

hmmm, remember my hero, Arlyn, my sister. Well i just made a video essay about her and why she is my hero. this video is part of the 5th slide i talked about that was going to be blank, but now we have a video in it, yay! this video explained, like what i said earlier, why shes my hero and it had to be nothing we talked about in our blog, or on our powerpoint. We also added a new thing to this essay, we added what we will say to them it we told them that they are our hero. this was a great experience for me because i never have any homework dealing with this much technology. leadership helped me do this. i also think this was a fun homework doing because we realesed our fealings to the person that we think is our hero, wait let me refrase that, "that we know is our hero" well its because we never really get to say anything and this video helps us explain what we really feel and really want to say as the person being modeled after or the person looking at role model(s). this video essay was to be 2 minutes long or what mr.ing said no longer then 10 minutes and no shorter then 2 minutes. this was kind of hard because it was really akward looking at a camera and talking to it. But other than that it was fun. Now its time to do a presentation in front of the whole class. awww. lol

Hero Powerpoint!, ^___^

          In our leadership class we have different periods and my period for this class is 6. for the past 3 weeks mr.ing talked about heros and if we have time we will do a  powerpoint presentation on them and so we did. the first step before we had to do our powerpoint is we need to do a blog with three paragraphs explaining who our hero is, what makes all heroes and characteristics of heroes, and last why they are your hero or what considers them to be your hero. the next step was to make the powerpoint with 6 slides and pictures for slides two, three, and four. this assignment was due today the 21st of november and i started this on the 17th. to be honest i really like this activity because you get to talk about who your hero is and how your hero is important to you.
           As of now im going to talk to u guys about the different slides i put and the themes i chose. The first slide was a title page and we had to include our heroes name and our name as the author of the power point and also we had to put the backgroung and i chose the chery blossom background but i will talk to you about that later! For the second slide we were supose to introduce our hero without saying why there your hero, this slide includes there personal traits, background, and what they are like. For the third and fourth slide i introduced my hero and why shes my hero, just so everyone knows my hero is my sister, arlyn, nut anyway in thoes two slides i talked about why shes my hero and gave two reasons for each slide, to be honest i dont think that only ywo reasons are enough, just like mr.ing would say if there really your hero you should have more thoughts about them. The next slide was kept blank for my video essey that i will blog about i think on friday but i will also add more deatails there, ok so the last slide, the last slide is just summarizing everything that we wrote and this page i just put like this was all the reasons why i consider her as my hero i put this because its true all what i say is about my hero! So the over all theme i chose was the cherry blossom tree i used this because it reminds me of my sister alot because i always see her in pink with like flowers on the side or sometimes just really bright colors. i think this represents her in a great way because she is a very bright person, like me, we get that from each other, but yeah this also says much about the way she acts like you never know which way she goes like the tree branch in the sakura tree there are never any branches taht are identical to each other.
          I really like this assignment because it represents the person who you look up to and it represents the person who you want to be, i want to be like my sister, a very honest, nice, but straight out person who is very strong and could handle anything, i mean who doesn't want to be like her!, she has the personalities of a real person should be!

bullying assembly

          On friday there was an assembly about bullying and cyberbullying, at first, before the assembly started we had to get out of period 1 ten minutes before it ended so that we can help out all of our jobs were the same to get the classes and get them to sit down, it was for the 8th grade classes they could sit on the chairs but the 7th graders had to sit on the floor but if there was space then they could have sit on the chairs but there was only little bit of seets left so only a certain amount like about 10-15 7th grade students could sit down on the chairs. most of the time the students wern't following directions it was really irrataiting because they couldnt follow simple directions and at the end it was us as a leadership class getting into trouble not them nut it was ok because we knew that it wasnt our fault. that day was a very interesting day because we didn't know it waould be a really big deal of how we would get into trouble but it was ok because again we knew it wasnt us and most of us knew what we did wrong and how we could fix our mistakes. this day was also very funny because people like sheala, tamera, king, melani, and the 7th grade leadership was there acting out as bullies and kids that are getting bullied. this is the most funniest thing that happened that day because of sheala it turned out more funny because she told us they didn't have any lines and they didn't get to practice. one of the lines that i cant forget that she said was "why are you guys going to the library you guys aren't even smart" it was soooooo funny i couldn't handle it, i kept laughing. this day was very interesting, wait let me rephrase that, this was a very interesting week. all of the laughing, the yelling, the probations, and the assembly that we had. Well thats it i guess till my next blog!  

My Hero

         




                 I think everyone in there life has someone to look up too in other words “hero” I have a hero, someone very special and close to me, its that girl in the picture, shes my hero and also shes my sister, Arlynmae Ramos, I consider her as my hero because she is a person I grew up with. She always checks up on me and if I have any problems she always says shes here for me if I need to talk to her. My sister takes time to be herre for me even though she has a job she always finds time to talk to me about my day and talk to me about what is was like being in 8^th grade and in leadership, I don’t think that I’m the only one she does this to, she also does this with all her friends and my mom, she loves haning out with them. Some characteristics that she has is she is a very strong person she doesn’t like when people treat other people mean and she hates bullies, she is strait forward with what she wants if she doesn‘t like someone she says it to there faces, I think this is what makes her unique, she is very honest she hates when she lies also she thinks its better if she says things strait up before a lie leads to another lie, she is a strait A student and she hates getting B’s because she strives for the best with what she wants, and she is a very friendly, it doesn’t seem like she is at times because she is always saying things and she looks kind of mean but I swear if you get to know her you’ll love her like how I do. What makes her a good sister and a good hero is because she never means to hurt anyone on purpose, if she gets mad at someone she has an absolute reason why, Me and my sister has very different types of personalities, to be honest me and arlyn don’t really get along that well its just because our personal characteristics don’t match as much as we look nothing alike! I know that we both have our differences but at the end of the day we love each other no matter what.
              
                  A few characteristics that all heroes should have are being nice, being friendly, and being a person that wants to show everyone there old enough to be a good role model, and a person that you can trust no matter what the situation was, they will always be with you no matter what. I believe this because they are the ones that you look up too and they people that you care about and want to be like when you get older.

                  My sister has all of these characteristics a real hero should have she keeps me at a level where a person should be at, she is not only considered a hero she is a family member, she is my sister. she always gets mad at me but I know the reason why, its because she loves me. Even though we don’t get along, even though we always fight even though we have only one parent here with us she considers to be a second parent I have she is like another mom of mines. When I grow older ans when she grows older to I always want to be like her no matter what I always want to be with her because shes my hero!

Secret Santa

All I want for christmas is.... SOMETHING *in a singing voice,
ok so you guys know that christmas is coming up, its almost here i could here the bells already, well for my class we are doing an activity called secret santa sure you heard of this fun game, well im not aloud too tell anyone about my secret santa because its a secret duh, ok so if iwere too choose my gift i would want something that i really like, like i wish i had more aeropostal shirts or holister, hmmmm if only i had a jacket since its really cold these days, since my haircolor is really off right know i wish i had something to cover this up or like a new color i really like chocolate things but not really like the hard candy like sugary things i really like the things that you can buy in Don Quijote like the oriental snaks thoese are soooo yummy esspecialy if there the ones with chocolate, ohhh or maybe funny earphones i really like erat phones specialy with the ones with the animations on it that will be cool because i really like listening to music if my secret santa will give me this that will be the best gift ever but i know onw of my family members might give me this, i dont really know what else i would want i mean like if my secret santa didn't give me any of this it will still be ok because its the tought that matters right if they get me something, just anything i know that they but thoughts into it, they can even get me like 20 christmas cards and i'll be ok with it.

ISA!

its been long like about a week ago since i posted a new blog but its been 2 days since
i did a very important activity, its been ISA, ISA means inter school athletics and every year they come to our school and participate in athletic games like softball, and,
basketball. we spent practicing and waiting for this activity in school for about 2 months and we talked about it even during
the summer. its been really fun because it was like last year we did this, i was incharge of water and there
were other jobs like score keeping for basketball and soft ball and watching the yard and watching the bathroom. for my job i was with heiligh, errlyn, and richie. i noticed that working with diffrent people isn't
easy its like you need to get used to them and we had many troubles with it i dont really know why but i figured it out some people dont know how to count but its ok since it was
kind of fun working with them. the schools that were there was ewa makai,
kapolei, waianae, and alot more they all did a great job but since it
was at my school i would choose ilima and i think they won a few games not all but yay for them. its been fun working with them and having all the schcool come to ilima and competing with us they all did a great job and i had fun well not he part where we got into trouble, but everything else was good and the food was good too yay for that again k thats it for now.

soccer!!!

Soccer ball intramurals has been a new experience of mine because I never did it before because last year we didn’t do it. It was really fun but at the same time we were still working, we had laughs and we got angry sometimes at the class because they weren’t paying attention and sometimes not following the rules but that was the only trouble we had and lots of laughs because sometimes the ball when it tried to go to the goal it was so far from it and sometimes it hits someone else I know its mean to laugh at that but everyone else was laughing so it was ok to laugh and the funniest part was when someone kicked that ball and it went so high and there shoe came off too and sometimes when that happens I remember one of the 8^th grade classes there shoe it one of there class mates and everyone stats laughing and it was so hard to try to be serious but I ended up on the ground laughing ( not seriously ) because I knew them. What I like about this intramurals other then the other intramurals is its much more easier and it goes by faster because they could only kick once and when that persons done he/she needs to wait for the rest of the class then they leave but over all the time takes only about 15 minutes and the rest of the 15 minutes we just play around kicking the ball to each other.
　

My 1st Quarter as an 8th Grader

             This quarter has been amazing its been like super fun this reminds me of all the fun I had last quarter because I remember the first year in leadership when it was my first time to do my job and especially for intramurals, i don’t really know how it came up to this but last year I really liked intramurals. But any ways back to the 1st quarter of my 8th grade year, the most memorable thing that I can’t forget is its not really a memory but its more like gaining more friends I gained an new leadership family because last year most of the leadership members are 8th graders so the graduated and moved to Campbell high school and it was just me Jolene, Shayna, and Rhea left so it was sad but now it’s a new year with new friends like the 7th graders with Megan, Heilighee, Jacob, Errlyn, Ann, and Richie, but also 8th graders like Melani, Chachie, Tamera, Shanice, and Shaela. There are also many things that I won’t forget like moving classes from band to AVID and moving my leadership period from pd. 4 to pd.6, all of my period 4 like rhea shaela and shanice was like “oh your in period 6 now so get out of here” I know it was just a joke and it kept going on for like a week later but I just laugh at it. Just to make it in order the things that I  forget I’m going to say it in my periods like for period 1 I can’t forget how me Jeszerrae, Jordan and Prya was sitting on one table and they were like trying on my glasses, there was more things in that period but I can’t really remember but in period 2 I can’t forget how we always say pick up lines to each other and we always laugh and Mr. young always looks at us like he’s angry that were not doing our work, I also can’t forget the time that Mr. young did this crazy facial expression when the whole class said that we didn’t study for our test. Ok so now period 3, I can’t forget how I always laugh in that period because used to sit right next to Marjorie, Erica, and Jazzelle and we always talk about jokes and stuff.
Period 4 is my English class but was my leadership class but for English what I can’t forget is when Mrs. Davidson all of a suddenly just stop the lesson and asked if Dreizen had any relatives that worked in 24 hour fitness and we all started laughing but the other thing that I won’t forget is when me and Tamera had to leave 5 minutes before class ends for intramurals and Tamera went to ask but Mrs. Davidson got kind of angry because we always had to leave early, but what I didn’t understand is that she knows that we are leadership students and she must have got something like an email saying that leadership is students that help the school and she already know I guess that she does that her other student must have left early before but why was she saying it to us now? Maybe if we explained it better to her she would have understand because all we asked it if we may leave 5 minute before class ends. Don’t get this part wrong its not that I hate Mrs. Davidson I don’r its just like she should know about that.
Ok so period 5 my AVID period and mrs.werts my teacher for this class, mrs wert is the most funniest teacher I had so far besides mrs.Hudson but she is so funny that  she always makes jokes like I remember a week after we finished our avid quiz we went over it and it went to the question ‘what  do I do every Monday morning’’ and someone answered don’t you have a date that day but she said “no that’s on Tuesdays” and we all started laughing so hard it was hard to focus on our work. What I can’t forget in this class is when jeszerrae just got her galsses so everyone in our table had glasses except for megan and it was funny how we all started to trade our glasses around and megan was just looking at us. Finally period 6 my leadership period, what I can’t forget is when mr.ing taught us a game where you have to say salute to the king when you see a king on the card of deck and good morning queen if you see one, hi jack is you see the jack, and try to grab the ace if you get it and it was soo funny but I was the person that always ended up loseing but we had a great time.
Ok so now im done with all of my periods so I just want to talk about how sometimes in leadership you gain popularity since your always on tv and you gain more responsibility, and sometimes people gain a bigger head, I was told to write about someone that I kind of have a problem with but not really a problem more like a misunderstanding and that person is king I mean king if your reading this don’t have any hard feeling its just that how you treat us its like were “dumb” its like we don’t know anything that were doing and the way your act in class is unacceptable you cant go around being like you’re the highest of all the students, just because were leadership students it doesn’t mean you could act like that. I know it might be a misunderstanding how I see you but its ok its my opinion. Ok so now im done with the things that I wont forget the person that I need to talk to and now the things that I regret. The most important thing that I regret is my grades because right now I have so many Bs I think I have 3 B’s and 3 As my grade was better last year so that’s what I regret the most. But any ways yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time one million more explanation points yay that were finally done with school. But I don’t really have anything plan for the summer so I think im just going to read for AR.
Oh yeah the book that im rerading “ the outsiders” is so intersing so whoever is reading my blog go and borrow that book now.  

ilima's got talent

This whole week was about ilima’s got talent and the only thing I could say when they were auditioning was like “woah” and “wow” because they were so good like really good and like we cant even say anything else so when they were auditioning I was like this is only a audition so what will happen if it’s the real thing and thought they must really be good, well some people had different opinions of them but I thought they were all good. So the first day came and I think it was taylor rae and Miranda vs. charm aye I think I couldn’t really remember but they were aswome like they had verything but the group that I wanted to win was haliana and kyra because they were so good they even gave me goose bumps but they made it to the finals so its ok I guess but the actual winner was Ashley I guess she was ok since shes the only one who did Tahitian so I guess its fair but this whole experience was fun because we got to watch them.    

blue plannet foundation activity

Last week thursday we had a person come to our classroon and talk about the blue plannet foundation. they talked about what we can do to help the world and in our part how we could conserve energy. That was the first part but the bell rang so the other leadership students had to leave and it was period six so its me, jolene, king, chachie, melani, and tamera and so we did an activity involing light bulbs and how hard it is to light up a light bulb so it was me first i was trying to light up the floricent light and it took way less energy then the old style light bulb and we figured out that the energy that we did to light up the light bulb was like electical energy and it took more energy to light up the old fashion bulbs. This activity was so imformative i know what i will do for my part of helping the world.

field trip!!!

its been like over a month since our leadership fieldtrip it was so fun, the only reason why we could go to the fild trip is because we went to the summer for our leadership work days. anyways it was so fun like we went to the movies first we watch spy kids and it was so funny we watched it in 4d and it was kind of gross cuz we had to smell stuff like when the dog farted and even when the baby did to. other then that is was so fun. i know im saying so much fun words but it was. then we went to ala moana and went shopping all around there. i was with jolene, shayna, heiligh, ( idk how to spell her name) and megan. and we ate with them and we added shanice too. it was our last 15 min and me and heiligh was running every where to the second floor then we were lost with shayna and jolene and started running again and we finally go to our stop and it was so funnn!!!!!

yay intramurals are over!

 yay finally its over, intramurals. its been like how many days its been so long. that whole week was the same, first go to you second period of the day then ask to leave 5 minutes before class, next you find out your jobs get your clip board or the cameras and go out to the field the stay in the super hot sun for an hour lol. im so glad that its finally over like all that time just watching the class and counting how much people there are and whose playing keeping track of whose playing i don’t really know i just really feel overwhelmed, it sounds so dramatic but its true because it was absolute torture hahahaha lol no not really torture but like it was really frustrating how long we had to stay there and im soooooooooooooooooooooooo sooooooooo super super de duper glad that its finaly over !!!!!!! yay. oh i forgot next quarter we have another intramurals game haaaaa!!! ok next quarter i could live with that.

welcome dance

Its been a week since the welcome dance, we did so much for this activity in school and
we did so much to even prepare for this activity. Its been really fun preparing it but it also
cased some stress on us as the leadership group because we did this whole thing like putting
the darts up, calling the air brush tattoo people and also the water slide and the skeeball. When
it came to the actual dance it was like weights coming out of our backs and it seemed so easy
after that, and when it ended it was all over all the things that we worked really hard on, all the
things we used our time for is all gone but at the end it was all worth it.  

Blogger Flyer

Why i think that people will go to my blogger because of my flyer is because its eye catching and people will notice it because its highlighted and you could notice my blogger and my website because its highlighted also because its really colorfull.
What i like to improve on my poster is add more cololrs although its colorfull i would also like to have more so it will see from more of a far and more people will go to the url and go to it. 

period 6

Why I like being in period 6 is because there are more people who will help you and you work with you, also i like that the people that im working with is people that i alredy know because if i dont know them then it will be harder for me to get to know each of them and harder for me to get used to them.
I leaned so many diffrent things about my period 6 even thought i alredy know them i knew more things around them liek tamera she plays soccer, chachie is not always quiet she could be really loud and could really be fun to be with, and jolene i knew her scince kindergaten but i
found out that she could be really shy, she doesnt seem that way in person but some
times she is.
What i dislike about my period 6 is htat they always follow what me and jolene say like if they have a thing to say like disagree with us they don't say anything, i like working with people like that but sometimes they need to speak up.
What i like to improve in my period is them to get closer with me and to get to know them more. Also for them to talk more and for them to stand up for what they want to say.

bio cube Activity

This month we were making our bio cubes so  this week we had to share our bio cube, we needed to work on it for a very long time probably like a month or so and how i use this is my classmates  helped my with my bio cube and they also helped me how to  make it better.  i used this when i was working on  my cube because i really wanted for it to be really nice. I used this when i shared my cube with the class. The technologies that i used was the computer and the  camera to take pictures and to print out my writing on the cube.  it was so fun i did lots of stuff but at first i was kind of nurvouse  but you get used to being in a class that has to share

First day of school!!!!

Its back to school! i waited to go back to school for a very long time, it was pretty hectic for my class scince were leadership because we need to take there ID pictures, there planners, and even there schedual. thoes days were only the two days when we seperated the 7th graders with the 8th graders but for my grade it was so fun we got to see our old friends and we even met new ones to!

summer 2011!!!

This year this summer was so fun went to the beach went and went to my leadership workday.
Other then that i was so bored laying down wile using my laptop and layign down watching tv. and even laying down eating hahahahaha no im just kidding ok but im really bored. throught my whole summer i didn't really do much i just stayed home. During my summer work days it was pretty fun i know cleaning isn't really fun but when your with your friends it is. i learned many things during the summer even though im a returnee from last years leadership i learned things. We had to prepare for orentation, schedual pick up, and the first day of school. it was pretty hecktick but it was still ok!

today was great, some problems but still great. i think today was the most memorable time of this year. i can't belive that it's finally over.  ahhhhh but their still is next year.

My worries im my enviorment

I have alot of worries regarding my invorment, i always see rubish on the ground and mess every where but what im really worried is global warming. global warming can ruin not only out invorment but the whole world becuase it causes the heat to go to the artic and meltsn the ice and make our sea level go up higher. i have alot more but this is the most one im  afraid of because the most damage it could do is kill us.

For us in our school we did not do anything for earth day but when i was online that day i always see the "happy earth day signs" and I totally forgot so when i was home i I just turned off the lights when im not using it.

In my state we celebrate kamehameha day. this holiday in my state is celebrated for our king kamehameha who fought and unified the islands.

Activity 3
In my family we always get together but sometimes we have missing people we always celebrate atleast once a month scince their is alot of us. My family always talks about the olden days but thats mostly my aunties, uncles, grandparents, and my parent. they always talk about thoes days when it was fun for them, i can remember one story when my grandparents first met each other and it was at a party in the philipines

Activity 4
In my area way before i was going to school i always remembered seeing humming birds that always flied around my house, i don't exactly know if it waas a humming bird but it sure looked like one but as time when by i notice their were less humming birds visiting my area until i saw a dead humming bird laying on the ground i felt sad but as  more time went by they all of a sudden disapered, i will never know what happened to thoes birds.

internet safety

what i learned in the internet safey website is i can't talk to anyone that i don't know, i can't meet up with anyone eather, keep my personal details to my self, have a limited time online, and last to tell a parent. all of these things i have learned its only just common sence.

6 grade orientation

     Hey guys its joshua again and today im going to talk about our orientation. This orientaion we did was we invited the diffrent elementary schools that are comming here to our intermediate and talk about what we have like clubs, how we communicate and like the things that we need when we go to this school.

    when we were on stage we used our glo's i mean all of it like first  we have self directed learner, this means being responsible for our learning but we were also responsible of the students learnings to because we were talking to them about the school. Next was community contributer, we used this because we were working with other people and like we worked in groups. The next glo is complex thinker we used this for the problems that we had like we had to fit in the band proformence and try to fit in the dance and say all of our anouncements so we had to think what we can do to fit all of thoes in in about 2 hours. Quality producer we used this for our posters we used this because we needed to make posters and like the intro for tv and also a few speeches that were said. Effective communicator i used this when i was on tv becuase we needed to talk to the audience on tv and we need to say things like whats aroung campus and some anouncments. last how we used effrective and ethical user of technology was when i was on tv we used cameras and phones and laptops.

my regular visitors are always the people i know al the comments are from my classmates but i do have a plan to increase my viewers in this blog and my plan is to keep up with the news today and what i think is the most important thing to talk about i will right it on this blog, also my plan is to leave conversations on my page and how i will go that is to talk about my opinion. some people may disagree with me and write about it but some people may agree with me.

its testing time

for me i dont really have a real font for my self i like usig times or arial. This challenge includes if cell phones should be used in the classroom, well i think both yes and no, yes because its easier to make contact to people for an emergency or like calculators we could use our phones. if we need to go to search up things we could go on the internet on our phones, but also no because we could be doing things that are not even a part of learning.

So this is another student challenge and this weeks challenge is where i would want to go in the world.
Well i really want to travel around the world so i want to visit everywhere but the main place i want to go is south korea. hahahaha i really like this place but i i notice i dont really have questions about this country because i always search up korea and like the foods and stuff because i did a project about korea so i know about this country and also my favorite musics also come  from their.
Like what i said earlier i know alot of this country but naming it more specifically i know that their known for shopping in my opinion but also their spicy but yummy foods.
Last i would visit this country because of the kpop idols their so cool and they make amazing songs i just wish i was one of them being picked as a trainee from jype would be so awsome.

my thoughts of the tsunami warning

       I know its been about a week from the tsunami but this is my thoughts and my past thoughts about it.
well first of all didn't we get a tsunami warning about a year ago in febuary well due to that tsunami warning which was just a warning that made me think that it was not even going to happen but compaired to chile  isn't japan closer to hawaii i thought to my self so that even got me more worried. Also its not just me its everyone that is scared. well now my after thoughts is that i knew that this was not going to happen because this happened last year sure this years tsunami did some damage but atleast we wern't the ones who got hurtand i know that we all thank god for that.
       Last i notice alot going on around the world this might be relevent to what is happening to japan, some of us think is this the end of the world. well no its not we are just faing climax changes throught the world like in hawaii vocanoes irupting, hail in kapole, and earth quakes almost every day in japan.
I hope that every one else is safe aroung the world!!!

My thougts of Incorporating technology in classroom

          My thoughts of incorporating technology in the classroom…
For me and for many other people out their technology is a very important thing for schools like computers, we need them to research things online for our projects, also our phones are technology to so if someone text us like our teachers friends cousins etc. they could text use or call us saying that our homework is due the next day or that theirs a problem at school so we cant go the next day. This is why I think technology is a very good idea to use in class or anywhere.

          What are your ways of turning in your homework?
there are many ways you can turn in your homework for example, sending your friend for you, giving it to that specific teacher personally, or even asking another teacher to turn it in to that teacher. Well there are so many ways that we could turn in our work but this is where technology comes along go to your computer go to your yahoo, gmail, blogger, tumblr, or even facebook and turn it in their I know it sounds crazy but don’t you this this is a good idea!
         
          For my leadership class technology is very important to us we need it and use it everywhere in the mornings when you’re here announcements outside in the courtyard that’s us and we have to use microphones, speakers, ipods, sometimes phones, etc. when we go on TV for announcements also that’s us we use cameras, 3 TVs 2 laptops, and 2 microphones, even after school if we have homework we start going on our computers laptops whatever that can support internet we co to the yearbook site and make the yearbooks of go on blogger which we started today to turn in our homework and to use our phones to communicate with one another.

          Handing in work this way is a great idea because not only we can keep track of our work but we can also be more organized with our work and it will be not in written pencil or pen but typed which even makes it look more organized.

          Technology can support many things but don’t you think it will be great if we could have more activities with the computer or any devices (which do not include consonants) in class, for me it’s a definant yes!
